Limestone & Tuart Sand: Perth's coastal plain sits on Tamala Limestone with Spearwood and Bassendean sands. Shallow limestone at 0.5–2m requires rock anchoring or pier-through designs. Sandy soils have low bearing capacity requiring wider footings.
