No, absolutely not. Galvanized steel corrodes catastrophically within 1-2 years in Port Lincoln. Even "heavy-duty" galvanizing fails. Salt spray penetrates coating, zinc layer depletes rapidly, then steel rusts. We've seen galvanized posts rust through in 18 months. ONLY stainless steel 316 suitable for Port Lincoln.
